A Multi Sector Advisory & Investing Group
Advisory across the sectors that build economies.
Mauritius · Offices in East Africa
Delivered with international discipline Deep East African presence
Who we are
Mauritius-incorporated. East Africa focused.
Jembe Group LLC is a multi-sector consulting and investment group. We originate, structure, and deliver mandates — bringing sector specialists, structuring discipline, and an established network into a single accountable point of delivery.
The work is built for complex projects: power plants, national infrastructure, mining ventures, agro-industrial estates, and risk-transfer programmes that must be bankable before they are built.
The Group
Cross-border structuring, bankable feasibility, blended-finance structures, commodity off-take, and risk-transfer programmes — assembled as one delivery.
Incorporation
The group is Mauritius-incorporated, with regional offices in Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Kampala, and Kigali. Work concentrates on Tanzania and the wider East African market, with structuring discipline that is written for lenders, DFIs, and sponsors.
We do not sell a catalogue of products. We originate and structure mandates, then assemble the legal, insurance, technical, and finance specialists required to take them from assessment to execution.
Practice
Energy, infrastructure, insurance and risk, agribusiness, mining and minerals — held as a single advisory and investing platform, not five disconnected boutiques.

01 — Energy
Sponsors, governments, and investors across conventional and renewable generation, IPPs, PPAs, and rural electrification.

02 — Infrastructure
PPP and concession advisory, CAPEX and DSCR modelling, blended finance, and bankable feasibility for governments and DFIs.

03 — Insurance & Risk
Brokerage and placement, group medical schemes, project and construction risk, competitive insurer selection, SLA and claims.

04 — Agribusiness
Agro-industrial development, estate revitalisation, processing, commodity sourcing, and agri-finance structuring.

05 — Mining & Minerals
Investment analysis, processing plants, technical and financial due diligence, mineral off-take, and regulatory advisory.
Sector · Energy
Generation and transmission through distribution, off-grid solutions, and the energy transition. Conventional and renewable — solar, hydro, gas, hybrid systems, and IPPs.
Who we advise
Sponsors, governments, and investors. Work includes IPP development and advisory, renewable projects, PPA and off-take structuring, energy feasibility and financial modelling, DFI and lender engagement, and transition and rural electrification strategy.
Sector · Infrastructure
Transport, water, social, and economic infrastructure — water supply and treatment, roads, ports, logistics, and industrial facilities. CAPEX and OPEX modelling with DSCR analysis.

Sector · Insurance & Risk
Risk-transfer and insurance solutions for corporates, projects, and large member schemes — designed, placed, and managed.
Through Ndege Insurance Brokers Ltd, the group places cover and runs procurement exercises for large medical and group schemes, including mining-sector programmes covering thousands of lives.

Sector · Agribusiness
Commodity trading roots, agro-industrial ventures, estate development, primary processing, value-addition, and commodity sourcing into regional and international markets.

Sector · Mining & Minerals
Project development, processing, responsible mineral trading, due diligence, bankable proposals, and regulatory compliance.

Energy in focus
Development and operating interests in Tanzania’s solar generation and grid-transmission sector. Plants that sell power. Substations that put that power on the national grid.
How the plants are held
Dependable generation sold to the national off-taker.
Utility-scale solar as operating, not aspirational, infrastructure.
Jobs and community value around Tanzanian assets.
Safety and quality held to world-class standards on site.
Delivery capability
Through EPC partner BQ Contractors Ltd — 100% Tanzanian, ISO 9001:2015 certified, nearly three decades in mechanical, civil, building, and electrical works — Jembe Group can take a structured mandate into the field.
Integrated capabilities
Selected delivery
Design, supply, installation, and commissioning of flow metering and piping at Dar-Mtwara and Tanga Ports.

Engineering and installation for water intake and transmission using specialised marine equipment.

Design, fabrication, and construction of large storage tanks as a complete turnkey package.

Civil works, MEP installations, and finishes for a modern hospital facility.

Our network
Trading, technology, consulting, insurance, corporate finance, and EPC — assembled around the mandate rather than presented as a conglomerate brochure.
How we engage
Listen. Understand the objective before a structure is drawn.
Test the opportunity. Recommend a structure that can be financed.
Draw the team from the network around that specific mandate.
Write the financial and delivery approach as a file a counterparty can use.
Mobilise execution and hold schedule, cost, and risk.
Leave an operating outcome, not a slide deck.
Selected engagements
Recent mandates delivered by Jembe Group and associated entities — from utility-scale solar to mineral processing files.
Presence
Mauritius for incorporation and structuring. East Africa for origination and delivery.

Careers
The group draws specialists from its network — legal, insurance, technical, finance, and EPC — rather than carrying a static organogram for its own sake.
Open roles are announced when a mandate requires them. General expressions of interest can be sent through the mandate desk, marked for careers.

Mandate desk
Tell us who you are and which sector the work sits in. The desk routes to energy, infrastructure, insurance, agribusiness, or mining — not to a generic enquiries inbox.
